PRIVATE TUTORING
One-on-one tutoring occurs for a minimum of one hour. Each session is structured to assess what skill level the pupil is currently working at, review core concepts and then practice skill and problem based questions based on the identified area of need. A detailed plan will be devised to structure follow up sessions. Recommended strategies will be suggested for how students can effectively use class time to identify areas of need in order to make the most out of each tutoring session.
GROUP TUTORING
Group tutoring can reach up to four pupils per group. This can be quite beneficial when the group is working on similar concepts but have individual detailed skills that need to be focused on. Preparation for this assessment will include questions that address the core concepts being tested as well as mimic the style and timing of each type of question. SEMI-PRIVATE TUTORING

SAT, MaST, IB AND ACT PREP
SAT, MaST, IB and ACT (American Colleges Test) preparation sessions focus on the math portion of the tests. Practice questions are based on higher mathematics topics such as Numbers and Operations; Algebra I, II, and Functions; Geometry; and Statistics, Probability, and Data Analysis. Problem-solving based questions and multi-step questions are a primary focus in preparing for such tests.
WEEKLY PARENT CHECK-IN
Communication with parents is key. It is important to have the opportunity to ask questions regarding your child’s progress. The weekly check-in maintains consistent contact with parents regarding how the student is progressing with each session.
